ICC Sydney CEO, Adam Mather-Brown, said the exhibitions market segment was an important catalyst for business, networking, and broader economic contribution: “Global Exhibitions Day is an opportunity to recognise the impact exhibitions have in driving economic and social benefits in the local economy.”
Mather-Brown added that what’s especially exciting is the rise of entertainment-centric, interactive, and culturally rich exhibitions such as those inspired by technology, gaming, and pop culture, which are capturing the imagination of younger audiences. These immersive experiences highlight the growing influence of the creative industries and underscore the importance of connecting with all generations through innovative, genre-spanning formats.

Among the standout events in 2025 is EDUtech Australia, the nation’s largest event for educators and EdTech providers. Backed by the NSW Government and Study NSW, it focuses on digital transformation and inclusive learning. According to organiser Terrapinn Australia, ICC Sydney’s location and accessibility allow the event to evolve in line with the changing needs of education professionals.
In the food and beverage space, The Good Food & Wine Show will return from 20–22 June, welcoming up to 25,000 people. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the event will feature live cooking demonstrations, tastings, and over 300 producers. Organisers describe ICC Sydney as “the ideal backdrop” for delivering top-tier consumer experiences thanks to its central location and atmosphere.

Further illustrating the shift toward experience-led exhibitions, the Hair Festival will take place in June. Aimed at the next generation of hair professionals, the event blends business with creativity in a high-energy format. With education, shopping, competitions, and networking in one immersive space, organisers expect over 8,000 attendees.
August will see the return of the co-located Integrate and Security Exhibition & Conference, which brings together AV, security, and integrated technology professionals under one roof. According to organisers Diversified Australia, ICC Sydney was chosen not just for its facilities, but also for the consistently high level of service delivered by its team.
In addition to these major events, ICC Sydney will host several new and returning exhibitions that reflect New South Wales’ evolving economic and social landscape:
- The Luxury Travel & Cruise Event, February 2025
- OZTEK ADX Australia, March 2025
- SmallBiz Week, August 2025
- Light Commercial Motor Show, August 2025
- The Business Show Sydney, November 2025
ICC Sydney continues to serve as a vital platform for connection, creativity, and growth — for Sydney, for New South Wales, and for Australia.
