A joint presentation will strengthen the entire region
The Discover Central Europe Alliance brings together the national tourism boards of Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. Together, they promote Central Europe in international markets and develop projects that boost inbound tourism throughout the region.
“The Central Europe Marketplace responds to the growing interest in vacations that combine visits to multiple European countries. Thanks to their location, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia offer ideal conditions for precisely this type of travel. Short distances make it easy to explore several countries in a single trip, each offering its own history, culture, cuisine, nature, and unique experiences. Together, we are creating a diverse range of offerings that can encourage international visitors to stay longer. This new event will help international partners better understand this potential and turn it into new, attractive travel products,” agreed representatives from all countries in the Discover Central Europe alliance.
“The fact that the first edition of the Central Europe Marketplace will take place in Prague confirms Czechia’s significance as the natural centre of Central Europe. It’s a great opportunity to introduce our country to international partners and show them the places and experiences they can offer their clients. I believe this new event will bring new business opportunities to Czech regions, hotels, and other partners and help attract more international visitors to Czechia,“ says Tereza Hofmanová, Director of the Czech Tourist Authority – CzechTourism.
“Successful tourism is based primarily on trust and personal relationships between people and companies. The Central Europe Marketplace will create a space where international buyers and partners from Central Europe can meet in person, establish collaborations, and develop new products for travellers. That is precisely why, together with New Deal Europe and the Discover Central Europe alliance, we decided to organize this event,“ emphasizes CEO ETOA Tom Jenkins.

Business meetings will be complemented by familiarisation tours
The main part of the program will feature a full day of pre-arranged one-on-one meetings. During these meetings, international buyers will meet with tourism representatives from Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. These meetings will pave the way for new partnerships and concrete offers that can bring more international visitors to the region.
Event participants will also personally visit selected destinations and experience firsthand the best that Central Europe has to offer—from historic cities and cultural landmarks to nature, gastronomy, and year-round travel opportunities.
