Set at the Western side of Cankarjev dom – CD Cultural and Congress Centre Ljubljana, Council of Europe Park, at the entrance to the Grand Reception Hall, is adorned by shady canopies of mighty trees of which a good half counts more than 230 years. Conventa Crossover’s visitors will, thus, this year be able to enjoy all the benefits that attending a conference in the heart of a European capital can provide along with taking breaks at the marvelously green and rereshing Council of Europe Park. They will have a break over a drink or coffee in the Cankarjev dom’s café or in looking at squirrels running and playing in the treetops.

This year too, as you probably already know, Conventa Crossover is coming back to Ljubljana. This time, however, in a hybrid form. Some of the happening will happen online. Other events will be held live, with actual people (such a rare and sweet treat these days, isn’t it?) in the most important Slovenian congress centre – Cankarjev dom CD Cultural and Congress Centre Ljubljana. From Thursday, 27 August to Friday, 28 August 2020. It is still possible to register here.

Cankarjev dom boasts a prestigious location in the heart of Ljubljana, what makes for a logistically perfect spot for Crossover as the location provides a quick and easy access to the main Ljubljana’s sightseeings as well to some of the most important buildings in town. For example, there are Slovenian parliament, government, president’s palace, a pleiade of embassies and the main police station, all set in Cankarjev dom’s surroundings. Cankarjev dom truly is a jewl.
