HISTORICAL HERITAGE
Vinica Castle is located in Bela Krajina, named after the well-known white birches, characteristic of this particular region. The Kolpa river together with the numerous bicycle routes offers the perfect experience to accompany the Vinica castle’s historical heritage. Vinica Castle was completed in the 15th century but was completely renovated and restored in 2015. The Castle’s name derives from the Latin word vinitum, meaning wine and it is no wonder as the castle is surrounded by wine hills. The Castle itself offers a selection of the best local wines from local producers.
Inside the stone walls, event organisers will find beautiful spaces ideal for organising events, weddings, launches and conferences. The venue also offers teambuilding and is among the most luxurious event spaces in Slovenia. The venue offers 3 different apartments, overlooking the Kolpa river, featuring a unique interior.
