Converging seasoned pediatric neurologists
Clinical Frontiers in Pediatric Neurology is an international congress focusing on the state of the art pediatric neurology. The regional congress took place in Ljubljana between 15 and 16 October, convening distinguished international speakers and enabling successful researchers and clinicians from the region to present their work.
Seasoned pediatric neurologists and paediatricians could network with residents in pediatric neurology, interns and students with special interests in the field in Cankarjev dom.
The European Paediatric Neurology Society (EPNS) is an international and independent non-profit Society for physicians, health professionals, scientists, and students with research and clinical interest in Paediatric Neurology. Their second event in Cankarjev dom was the 8th EPNS Research Meeting, aiming to enhance research in Paediatric Neurology. The meeting convened leaders in the field, active researchers and young fellows interested in joining or setting up research projects.

The programme of the research meeting included talks on epilepsy, movement disorders, ataxia, neurometabolic, neonatal neurology, neurometabolic, paediatric stroke and autoimmune & infectious diseases, culminating with the award ceremony for the EPNS Research Prize winners. The prizes worth 2,500 EUR are awarded to young neurologists who present outstanding, innovative ideas in research in Paediatric Neurology.
Hosting scientific congresses elevates Ljubljana’s position as an innovation hub where regional and international experts converge and discuss pressing topics. Cankarjev dom is proud to be the first choice for established associations and scientific societies who continue to opt for the venue because of its modern technical equipment, professional team and superb location.
