Special venues are slowly starting to reopen following the easing of restrictions related to COVID-19. Outstanding outdoor special venues will be the first to open, as they offer spacious terraces and relaxed atmospheres for events. The editorial board of Kongres Magazine have selected a list of 20 most recognisable outdoor special venues. ST. MICHAEL’S FORTRESS
St Michael’s Fortress offers a different and fascinating venue for your conference. First mentioned in history in 1066, the fortress is built on a 60-metre hill that commands imposing views of the Adriatic and Šibenik below. St Michael’s Fortress is spread over 2,600 square metres.
Meneghetti is a delightful luxury hotel, a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux group, with an outstanding restaurant, and its own premium, world-renowned and award-winning wines and olive oils. It also offers a bunch of different outdoor activities.
Park Orsula, an open-air live music venue, was opened in the summer of 2012. It is situated 3km southeast of town, just off the road to Cavtat. It’s right beside the parking lay-by and drinks kiosk where folks stop to enjoy the famously panoramic view of Dubrovnik’s Old Town.
Fortress of Revelin is located on the eastern part of the City. The initial fort was built in 1463. Inside of the Revelin fort, there is a night club where they organize rock concerts, techno parties, regular night club evenings and exclusive entry parties.
The most famous and important monument, the starting and ending point of every sightseeing tour is the Amphitheater, popularly called the Arena of Pula, which was once the site of gladiator fights. It was built in the 1st century AD during the reign of Emperor Vespasian.
Immersed in natural beauty and offering unspoilt views of the Adriatic Sea, Obonjan is the perfect adults-exclusive island getaway. Obonjan is one of the most picturesque places in Europe and a place where you can do as much or as little as you wish.
SAINTS HILLS WINERY
