Ksenija Djordjević, young and ambitious architect of Restaurants Slon 1552 describes the interior as soft minimalism – pure and straight lines soften the warmth of materials, green vegetation and lighting. Hotel Slon opened an urban and modern Restaurant Slon 1552 with elements of luxury in December last year. When creating new dishes we observe the saying ‘’less is more’’, trying to extract from the ingredients their characteristic taste.

Restaurant also offers 3 original dishes prepared in line with recipes from year 1859, complemented by contemporary culinary trends. A traditional Slovenian menu slowly roasted pork knuckle with sauerkraut and potato “matevz” is highly recommended by our Chef.

The BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Slon is located in Ljubljana at a privileged location – in just a few steps you can reach the famous Three Bridges, Presern Square and other centrally located tourist attractions, business locations and major government offices in Ljubljana. Tivoli Park the largest and most beautiful park in Ljubljana, stretching through to the very center of town is almost next door. It was designed in 1813 by the French engineer Jean Blanchard, and is home to the ornate Cekin Mansion which houses the National Museum of Contemporary History.
