VILA VIPOLŽE

KRIŽANKE SUMMER THEATRE

Križanke occupies the site of a former 13th-century monastery complex that originally belonged to the German Order of the Knights of the Cross and was renovated through the years by a number of Renaissance architects.

DVERI-PAX ESTATE

The Benedictine Dveri Pax – one of the most modern wine cellars in Slovenia – stores 50,000 (out of a total of 300,000) liters of wine in oak barrels. Located in Maribor’s vicinity, the Dveri-Pax Wine Cellar continues an 800-year tradition of Benedictine winemaking in north-eastern Slovenia.

Herman Potočnik – Noordung – Center of Space Technologies is located at the strategic location in Vitanje. The architectural design of the center comes from a geostationary space station, a residential bicycle, described in 1928 in the book of Herman Potočnik Noordung.

RAILWAY MUSEUM

At the end of a 15-minute stroll from Ljubljana’s Old Town can be found an astounding industrial building that is today home to the Railway Museum. Formerly serving as the mechanical workshop for steam trains, the building is home to an amazing collection of steam trains.

TRIGLAVLAB

Zavarovalnica Triglav, the Slovenian insurance company, has in Ljubljana recently opened Triglav LAB which can be also booked for diverse events. For the breaks or for incentives or just for fun, the attendees can, in addition, use a provided driving simulator.

STRMOL CASTLE

Strmol Castle is situated on the slopes of Dvorjanski hrib (“Mansion Hill”) near Cerklje na Gorenjskem in central Slovenia. In the 13th century, the Strmol Knights settled here and the fortress was named after them, keeping the same name despite the constant changes of the owners.
